Lists Lists and more Lists

If you had to make a list of things that would make your life, in your eyes, "perfect", what would that list look like? My list would prolly be quite lengthy. Assuming I will still be living in Magnolia, my list would probably look like this:
~* I always say if Magnolia had a Chick-Fil-A, Coldstone, and Chili's I would be set for LIFE!

~* If I had a robot machine like on the Jetsons that would dress me, do my makeup, and hair that would be great too! I could wake up and be ready to walk out the door in less that 15 minuets!
~* I would love to be able to play the guitar! Since I LOVE to sing, I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar and be able to just "pick and grin" as they say.
~* If you never had any malfunctions with your electronic devices! It seems I am always having technical difficulties with all of my electronic stuff weather its an ipod, cell phone, camera, or computer.
~* Another thing that would be great would be if you didn't have to worry about getting speeding tickets! I hate that every time I see a cop car weather i am going the speed limit or not I automatically press on my breaks. I hate living in fear!
~* I wish someone would invent a teleporter so I can go wherever I want in the world in the blink of an eye!
~* I wish that you didn't have to wait FOREVER for a new movie to come out! I also wish that you could just press a button and the movie you want will just appear!

Im sure there will be more to add to this list! Be looking!

Rain Rain GO AWAY!!

So the past week has been absolutely CRAZY! On Monday and Tuesday the tornado sirens when off in Magnolia. If you know me, you know that I HATE tornado's, even worse than that I hate the siren! Well every Monday night I have a girls night at Leslie's so we can watch our show (Secretlife of an American Teenager). Well the show had just gone off and we were all just hanging around like we always do when the sirens start going off! We really didn't think it was for real because we looked outside and it wasn't raining or anything! Well we all start getting a little scared so Momma Kathy told all 4 of us to get into Allison's TINY bathroom! To get our minds off of us being totally scared we took pictures and again if you know me, you know that I love to take pictures so of course that was gonna get my mind off things! Well long story short, nothing ended up happening but many of sheets of rain!

Tuesday night I was at home and dad told us to get ready cause we are about to go to the football stadium for safety because its just a big concrete block so we were in one of the locker rooms waiting out the storm. There was a TV in there so we were watching Pirates of the Carribbean. It was my Dad, Mom, little Sister and I there plus another coaches family. We stayed there for about an hour and a half and then we got the all clear from dad. Yet again nothing happened! Although nothing happened here in Magnolia, a lot happened in other places in Arkansas. According to Yahoo, places like Vilonia, a town of some 3,000 people north of Little Rock, one death was confirmed and between 50 to 80 houses were destroyed by the tornado, according to Faulkner County emergency management. Police reported a path of destruction half a mile wide. I think we all need to take time and think about the families and communities that have been affected by these storms. Also if we were not effected by the storms except for rain we really need to take a time to be thankful that we were so lucky! Keep all those effected in your prayers!

He seems like a pretty awesome guy. Before a show he will go out and meet some of the fans and sign autographs. It would be awesome to meet him I think!

How will YOU make a difference?

At church last night we were confronted with a challenge to find ways to bring Christ on SAU's campus. We were made up in groups about about 4 or 5 people. In my group it was me and 4 other girls, Katie, Kate, Amanda and Sydney. First we were to put our paper in 3 columns and told to brainstorm ideas on how to bring Christ to campus, then we in the next column we were to brainstorm ideas to be able to do if money was infinite. Then in the 3rd column we were to brainstorm about what we could do with $25. Little did we know that we were actually going to be given $25 and told to spend it however we needed in order to bring one of out ideas to life. My group chose an idea that we think would just be perfect! Our idea was to get a bunch of just cheapo sunglasses and then we were going to write with a paint pen on the ear piece of them the verse 2 Cor. 5:7 which is walk by faith not by sight. We plan to hand them out to everyone at school or however many we can get for 25 dollars which will probably be about 25. I will be taking pictures of the out come and let you know how our idea came out. Hopefully it will be a hit! Until then! :)

The sunglasses turned out GREAT!

All of them were gone within like 2 hours and at church everyone was wanting us to make them some. We may have started something new! I love my group and the ladies did an awesome job. I didn't get to help as much as I liked because I was at work when they did a lot of the work but I helped out when I could!

Never Regret Anything you say??

There's a saying, "Never regret anything, because at one point it was exactly what you wanted", until yesterday I agreed with that saying 100%. Now I have to say that I realized one thing in my life that I do regret. That is the fact that I quit doing gymnastics when I was younger. What brought this on? Well yesterday was just another lazy Sunday, the great ones where you just lay up all snuggled in bed and watch TV and do NOTHING! Well the Southeastern gymnastic competition was on. Teams from Arkansas, LSU, Florida, Alabama and Georgia were competing. Being as I used to take gymnastics, I was glued to the TV in a instant! After watching it for the next 2 hours, I realized that I, in fact, really do miss it and regret that I quit! I can't even remember now why I even wanted to quit. I loved it so much! It was something I was actually good at! I loved all the events beam, uneven bar, vault, and floor! I was able to jump and do the splits horizontally and vertically. I was so proud of myself because I was the only one in my class that could do it! When I saw these girls doing all the event it almost brought tears to my eyes because I missed it so much. Arkansas did a really great job but in the end Alabama won for the third year in a row.  All in all I guess now I will just have to sit back and enjoy just being a spectator at gymnastic events. Sucks but that's what happens when you regret things later in life.
